The Standing Orders Committee, chaired by the Speaker and including the two Deputy Speakers and up to twelve other Members, is responsible for establishing the procedural rules governing the House of Parliament and its Committees. This includes drafting rules for the conduct of business within the House and during Committee deliberations. The Committee also reviews proposals for amending these Orders, which may originate from the Speaker or any Member of Parliament.
