The Committee on Information and Communications is composed of a Chairperson, a Ranking Member, a Vice Chairperson, a Deputy Ranking Member, and no more than thirteen additional Members. The Committee is responsible for examining matters pertaining to information and communications, and it holds the authority to investigate and inquire into the activities and administration of ministries, departments, and agencies within its mandate. Additionally, its investigative and inquiry powers may extend to proposals for legislation.
