The Committee on Security and Intelligence, consisting of a Chairperson, Ranking Member, Vice Chairperson, Deputy Ranking Member, and up to thirteen other Members, oversees matters concerning national security and intelligence. Its responsibilities include: (a) reviewing matters related to national security and intelligence; and (b) investigating and inquiring into the activities and administration of relevant ministries, departments, and agencies, including the examination of legislative proposals. The Committee also examines the budget estimates of the National Security Ministry and its affiliated agencies.
